When I started lifting, my body started producing results and always gathered info from the internet. When I started searching for articles and videos about nutrition, I saw that there are two aspects of bodybuilding, one is bulking and other is cutting. I thought that I was special and gifted because I was losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time (although I was in a protein-rich diet). New researches show that it's possible and is known as
BODY RECOMPOSITION.
It is most likely happen in three cases
1.you are a detrained athlete
2.you are a beginner
3.you are on steroids
Earlier people denied because they thought that the body can either be in a catabolic state or anabolic state.
But new research proves this us by the first law of thermodynamics
*
The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system is constant; energy can be transformed from one form to another, but can be neither created nor destroyed
Researchers concluded that muscle and fat are different compounds
9000 calories equals about 1 kg of fat
4000 calories equals about 1kg of muscle
Being in a slight calorific deficit of 150-300cal, you can achieve body recomposition at a slower rate if do not fit in the above-mentioned categories.
All this applies to people who are fat or skinny fat(containing a reasonable amount of fat on the body)
